This brunch celebrates the accomplishments of graduate students from underrepresented cultural, ethnic, and social communities. Graduates are invited to dress in regalia and bring cultural stoles that reflect their identities.
Each doctoral candidate will be individually recognized for their accomplishments and draped with a hood by their respective program director. The ceremony also includes a faculty and student speech, and concludes with a reception and social in the University Fens Cafe.

The 120th Simmons University Commencement Ceremonies will be held at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, located at 2 Lansdowne St, Boston, MA 02115. Both the morning and afternoon ceremonies will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person.
