Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT): Elementary Education Licensure
Our (MAT): Elementary Education Licensure provides a master’s degree and initial teaching license for Elementary Education (grades 1-6) in Massachusetts. Our graduates have exceptional pass rates on the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) — and quickly build successful careers.

Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT): Dual Elementary Education and Moderate Disabilities Licensure
This unique (MAT): Dual Elementary Education and Moderate Disabilities Licensure program provides a master’s degree and initial teaching license for Elementary Education (grades 1-6) and Moderate Disabilities (grades PreK-8) in Massachusetts. Our program focuses on the principles of inclusion — that all individuals can learn and have the right to do so in a classroom within their own community and with learners their own age.

Master of Science in Education (MSEd): Moderate Disabilities or Severe Disabilities Licensure
The (MSEd): Moderate Disabilities or Severe Disabilities Licensure leads to a master’s degree and initial teaching license in Massachusetts for Moderate Disabilities (grades PreK-8 or 5-12) or Severe Disabilities (all grade levels). With special education now identified as a high need teaching area in nearly every state, this degree provides the skills and certification you need to launch a meaningful career in an in-demand field.
