Join Sara Donaldson, Associate Professor of Education, Wheaton College as Sara introduces data from a study on classroom community-building and its effects on belonging, followed by hands-on exploration of strategies and protocols for creating collaborative learning agreements and using student feedback to shape course structures.
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of belonging as a social construct, insights into how institutional and classroom systems may create barriers, and tools to promote belonging, well-being, and transformative learning in their teaching.
