Bridge Program
The Bridge Program is a year-round initiative open to all students, offering opportunities to receive peer mentorship and develop leadership skills. This program is designed to foster community, enhance personal and academic growth, and empower students to thrive throughout their Simmons journey.
The Multicultural Center Summer Bridge Pilot is a free summer transition program, offering incoming undergraduate first-year students who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), an opportunity to participate, connect, learn, and grow with the Simmons community. Participants get a head start in their college journey, build a support system, and gain essential skills that facilitate their transition and success at Simmons.
As part of Simmons’ commitment to inclusive campus communities, we are eager to welcome admitted students to learn more about the campus experience of students from a variety of identities and backgrounds, including those who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color), first-generation, and underrepresented. Through this program, we hope students are able to connect, hear more about our resources, and feel a sense of belonging that is important to our mission.
We invite students to take part in this transformative experience, build meaningful connections, and engage in leadership development that supports their success both at Simmons and beyond.
