Celebrating Nursing Excellence Event

The Simmons University School of Nursing and the Office of Advancement and Alumnae/i Relations will host a special celebration on Saturday, May 9, in honor of Nurses Week 2026.

This event will offer a wonderful opportunity for Nursing faculty, students, and alumnae/i to come together as a community, to celebrate our shared history, reconnect with friends and colleagues, and look ahead to the bright future of Simmons nursing.

Pinning! For those alumnae/i interested in being pinned onsite, we would be honored to include you. This is a meaningful opportunity to honor our alumnae/i and also to offer those who may not have had a pinning ceremony the chance to participate in this time-honored nursing tradition. Even if you have been pinned, all alumnae/i are welcome. Students and faculty: come to celebrate your nursing colleagues being pinned!

We hope you will join us for this special celebration!

Discounted parking and a reception will be included. You won’t want to miss this momentous experience.
