If you sign up, you receive a copy of Snafu Edu: Teaching and Learning When Things Go Wrong in the College Classroom by Jessamyn Neuhaus and are invited to read the chapters corresponding to the topics listed below. You’ll also be invited to a Slack server for asynchronous discussions and three synchronous Zoom meetings.
The “no guilt” aspect though means there will no pop reading quizzes, and each session will begin with Sarah sharing an 8-10 minute overview of the main ideas in the assigned chapters. Join the discussion even if you haven’t had time to read - but please only request a book if you are indeed hoping to do some reading!
