Andres Gomez-Rivas is an adjunct faculty instructor at Simmons University, where he is developing and will teach an online graduate-level course on AI-powered business strategy. Drawing on over 20 years of global leadership experience at companies like Bose, Sun Microsystems, and Texas Instruments, Gomez-Rivas integrates practical business insights into his teaching. His course focuses on applying generative AI tools such as ChatGPT to real-world challenges in marketing, sales, operations, and finance, with an emphasis on ethical AI governance and strategic planning.

In addition to his role in higher education, Gomez-Rivas teaches mathematics and brings a hands-on, problem-solving approach to the classroom. He is passionate about making learning relevant and accessible by connecting industry practice with academic rigor.

Gomez-Rivas holds an MBA in international management from Thunderbird, an MS in industrial engineering from Rutgers University, and a BE in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech. He is committed to preparing students to thrive in a rapidly evolving, tech-driven world.
