Students Launch SimStickers!

Students in Professor Teresa Nelson’s Let’s Start a Business course launched SimStickers in March. Two laptop sticker designs were for sale on campus on March 20, and more designs will be released over the course of the semester. Each sticker costs $3, or you can buy two stickers for $5. They have created a form for online orders

"Our main goal of making the stickers is to bond the Simmons community together through shared interest and experiences," says PR and Marketing Communications student Alyssa Williamson '19 (pictured, left, with Hailey McCaffrey '19).

Professor Nelson adds, "I love teaching this class because it gives students the opportunity to learn by doing in a major way....to design a product, market, launch and sell all within one semester. They have to step outside their comfort zone because there is a job to be done — and their team to do it."
