Simmons Family Weekend One-Day Itinerary

Welcome, Spirit & Connection (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM)


Welcome Brunch & Family Fun (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

Join us for a delicious and relaxed brunch! We'll kick things off with a welcome from our university leadership. We'll have plenty of fun—grab your Simmons swag, enjoy some tasty food, and challenge your family to a few rounds of trivia and games. Ticketed fee per person

A Moment of Zen (12:00 PM – 12:45 PM)

Take a break and unwind together! The Nancy Gavrin FIT at Simmons Program invites you to a family-friendly session of yoga and guided mindfulness on the quad. It's the perfect way to feel refreshed and connected. Ticketed per person

Cheer on Our Sharks! (10:30 AM – 2:30 PM)

Hop on the bus and get ready to cheer on our amazing athletes! We're heading to the Daly Field Athletic Complex for a double-header of exciting games. First up, our Field Hockey team takes on Lasell at 11:00 a.m., followed by Women's Soccer facing Dean at 1:00 p.m. Let's show our Simmons pride! Ticketed per person

Transportation Provided - Bus departure 30 minutes before games begin from Simmons. You may drive to the field (10 Nonantum Rd, Brighton, MA 02135) and find street parking.

Boston Sightseeing Trolley Tour (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM)

Join us for a two-hour, fully narrated tour of the city that highlights over 100 points of interest, including all the major historic sights, attractions, museums, and parks in Boston. Your tour will explore Boston’s historic waterfront, the New England Aquarium, the North End, and the famous ride made popular by Paul Revere. The tour departs from Simmons.

Fenway Park Tour

Take a walk over to America's Most Beloved Ballpark and explore the history of the Boston Red Sox. (4 Jersey St, Boston, MA 02215)

Local Museum

Spend a few hours at either the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum or the Museum of Fine Arts. They're both just a short walk away, and Simmons students get in free!

Family Dinner & a Movie: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (6:00 PM – 8:30 PM)

Join us for a delicious buffet dinner while we watch the action-packed comedy, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. This fun-filled movie is rated PG-13 for adventure action, suggestive content, and some language. The story follows four high school students who get sucked into a magical video game and must work together to survive as their unlikely in-game avatars. Get ready to play along with our movie-themed trivia and bingo games on your phones for a chance to win awesome prizes!

Boston Ghosts & Gravestones Tour (8:00 PM – 9:30 PM)

Get ready for a night of spooky fun! Join us for an evening tour that will reveal the supernatural side of Boston. As you travel on the infamous "Trolley of the Doomed," you'll be captivated by stories of the city's unsettling history, from centuries of conflict to unsolved mysteries. Learn about the tormented spirits that supposedly still haunt Boston's streets and alleyways. This tour is guaranteed to be a night you won't forget! Departs from Simmons
