A Cross-Disciplinary Conversation about the Impacts of Misinformation
Visiting Allen Smith Scholar John Budd moderates a panel of interdisciplinary faculty to uncover the wide ranging impacts of mis/disinformation. An Epidemic, a Social Condition, A Human Problem will highlight perspectives ranging from public health to library and information sciences. As John Budd argues, concepts of truth and disinformation are essential, not for studies of "information" abstractly and practically, but within the body politic of today.
