I have been teaching for 13 years, having experience in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. I have been with Simmons University for over 7 years while also working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care capacity. I earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2018 with a concentration in Education and cultural competence as the topic for my Scholarly Project. I believe that teaching is an art, a science, and that we all can and must learn and adapt our teaching practices based on our culturally diverse adult student body.
