About Me

Lisa Feldmann has a master’s degree in Archival Management from North Carolina State University as well as a master’s degree from the Simmons School of Library and Information Science. She has worked in the field for 30 years in a variety of institutions including the Wake Forest University Medical School Archives, Brandeis University Archives, Redwood Library and Athenaeum, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum where she currently works in the Museum Archives. Lisa has experience managing medical archives, rare books, student archives, painting collections, scientific data, organizational records, and colonial manuscripts. She has curated numerous exhibitions, provided reference service, established digital preservation programs, and handled several disaster recovery projects. She is very active with the regional professional organization, the New England Archivists. And when not immersed in archival adventures Lisa prefers to be hiking, taking a dance class or learning about 19th Century printing techniques.
