About Me

I am a physical therapist with 35 years of clinical experience. While my clinical positions have varied and include acute care and rehabilitation, my area of specialization is orthopaedics. I currently practice in outpatient physical therapy with a focus in general orthopaedics and geriatrics. I developed and supervised an aquatic physical therapy program for five years, and am now interested in rehabilitation following total joint arthroplasty and fall prevention in the elderly. I have enjoyed being an instructor at Simmons University for 25 years due to the focus on small class sizes, self-directed learning and collaboration. My teaching areas include kinesiology, patient care skills and therapeutic electrophysical agents.
