She took part in launching a video podcast about women's sports called "Respect Her Game." Pouravelis is committed to advancing the intersection of women's sports, media, and education.
“At a time when women's professional sports teams are on the rise, Justine's knowledge of the business side of the industry is second to none,” says School of Management Dean Astrid Sheil. “Her contacts and insider status will help our students gain a competitive advantage in internships and paid positions.”
Pouravelis adds: "I'm thrilled to be joining Simmons University, a historic women's institution in the heart of Boston. I look forward to collaborating with the exceptional faculty, staff, and students to help cultivate the next generation of leaders in the rapidly growing field of women's sports."
