The afternoon will feature networking, a presidential panel with Q&A, and an interactive activity designed to bring us together in the ways that matter most.
We are honored to announce our featured presidential panelists and moderator.
Dr. Katie Conboy is the 14th president of Saint Mary’s College. She has more than three decades of experience in Catholic higher education, more than a decade of service to women’s colleges, and a deep belief in the value of a liberal arts education. Prior to Saint Mary’s, Dr. Conboy was provost and senior vice president at Simmons University in Boston from 2013-2020. Before that, she spent 26 years at Stonehill College in Easton, MA, serving as a professor of English and then as the College’s first Provost. Dr. Conboy is an award-winning teacher and scholar. She earned her PhD in English literature from the University of Notre Dame and her BA in English from the University of Kansas.
Danielle R. Holley is the 20th president of Mount Holyoke College and the first Black president in its 188-year history. A distinguished legal scholar with degrees from Yale and Harvard Law, she previously served as Dean of Howard University School of Law. At Mount Holyoke, President Holley is a fierce advocate for academic freedom and gender-diverse education. She serves on Governor Maura Healey’s DRIVE Acceleration Team and is a leading expert on race-conscious admissions, frequently providing analysis for NBC and NPR. Under her MHC Forward strategic plan, she has prioritized faculty innovation, student career readiness, and a sustainable campus renewal. An Aspen-Kern and Liberty Fellow, President Holley remains a vital voice in protecting the inclusive mission of higher education.
A leading feminist legal theorist, Laura Rosenbury is Barnard College’s 9th president. Previously, she served for eight years as the Dean and Levin, Mabie & Levin Professor of Law at University of Florida Levin College of Law. She was the first woman in that role. Before joining the UF Law community, President Rosenbury was a professor of law and vice dean at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. She also has served as a visiting professor at Harvard Law School, Stanford Law School and University of Chicago Law School. President Rosenbury received her A.B. in women’s studies from Harvard-Radcliffe College and her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she served as a primary editor of the Harvard Law Review.
Dr. Lynn Perry Wooten (moderator) is the 9th President of Simmons University and the first African American to lead the university. Specializing in crisis leadership, diversity and inclusion, and positive leadership—organizational behavior that reveals and nurtures the highest level of human potential—Dr. Wooten is an innovative leader and prolific author and presenter whose research has informed her work in the classroom and as an administrator. She first joined a university faculty in 1994 and has served in administrative roles since 2008. Dr. Wooten came to Simmons from Cornell University, where she was the David J. Nolan Dean and Professor of Management and Organizations at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. She earned a BS in accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, a Historically Black College; an MBA from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business; and a PhD in business administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
