Simmons University Concert Choir
The concert choir is a singing group that performs formal concerts twice a year (Fall and Spring semesters) and at various University events including Commencement, Honors Convocation, Accepted Student Brunch, and Family Weekend.
The Concert Choir sings classical works, songs from the Simmons Song Book, Suffrage Songs, popular pieces and many multicultural compositions in a variety of languages. Reading music is not required and we do not hold auditions, but members must be able to carry a tune and love to sing.
All members of the Simmons community are invited to join: undergraduates, graduates, Dix Scholars, faculty and staff. The Choir rehearses once per week on the academic campus. The Music Director and conductor of the Concert Choir is Danica Buckley.
