Jared Deighton is an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer, Data, and Mathematical Sciences. He holds a PhD in Mathematics, with a concentration in Mathematical Biology, from The University of Tennessee. Dr. Deighton's previous work has involved developing novel information-theoretic measures to better understand how the brain represents spatial navigation, as well as applying AI to study the pharmacokinetics of drugs in the brain.
