Study in Prague a millennial European city with narrow curved streets, marvelous courtyards, and green parks is situated in the middle of the Czech Republic and is a short flight or train ride from Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Poland!
Host Institution: The USAC Czech Republic program is housed at Charles University - one of the oldest European universities founded in 1348.
Course Highlight: Courses in English with three-weeks of intensive Czech language. Electives in the Czech language, European politics, culture, and art studies.
Majors: Humanities, Liberal arts, Business.
Housing: Shared apartments units within commuting distance of campus.
Study in Lyon a UNESCO World Heritage Site that remains an important center for French culture and history!
Host Institution: The campus is situated on the banks of the Rhône River and the Portes des Alpes campus is located closer to the city center. These provide great opportunities to meet French students and practice your language skills in a more natural environment.
Course Highlight: Most courses are taught in French with a select few instructed in English.
Majors: Art, history, anthropology, and POLS/IR. USAC Lyon also offers classes that fulfill many Key Content Areas (KCAs).
Housing: Dormitory accommodation on the University of Lyon campus or homestay accommodation within commuting distance of campus.
Study in Berlin: a vibrant city shaped by a rich and turbulent history!
Host Institution: The Freie University Berlin (FU Berlin) was founded in 1948 and has since grown into one of the most globally-connected institutions in Germany and the European Union. Freie is ranked among the top 70 universities worldwide and maintains a sprawling urban campus in downtown Berlin.
Course Highlight: FU Berlin offers a diverse selection of English-taught courses compatible with most Simmons majors outside of the natural and health sciences. Also offers classes that fulfill most Key Content Areas (KCAs).
Majors: POLS/IR, humanities & liberal arts, social sciences, business.
Housing: Students elect to live in homestay accommodation or apartment-style housing within commuting distance of campus.
Study in Budapest: The capital of a landlocked nation of just over ten million people. This country will steal your heart; lure you back again and again with its thermal spas, natural beauty and hermetic language.
Host Institution: International Study Programs (ISP) department of Corvinus University of Budapest.
Course Highlight: Students can specialize in international business courses such as marketing, finance, and economics, or choose from a variety of humanities courses such as law, political science, psychology, and more. All courses, with the exception of Hungarian, are offered in English.
Majors: Marketing, Finance, Art, History, Political Science, Psychology, Business Management, Economics, Information Technology, and Sociology.
Housing: Local apartment with US and/or international students.
Study in Reykjavik: forged by the fires of still-active volcanoes, this magnificent country straddles the North American and European continental plates!
Host Institution: Reykjavik University (RU) is located in the capital city of Reykjavik in Iceland and is the country’s largest private institution.
Course Highlight: Students can enroll in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) as well as Business courses at RU. Courses are geared toward upperclassmen, so Simmons students are recommended to have a background in the subjects they plan on studying abroad at Reykjavik.
Majors: STEM and Business.
Housing: Students reside in shared apartments within community distance of campus.
Study in Dublin: a city with Celtic, Viking, and Norman origins going as far back as the 7th century!
Host Institution: Study in Ireland, at one of Europe’s most prestigious universities. Since its founding in 1854, University College Dublin (UCD), has made unique and substantial contributions to the creation of modern Ireland as well as the European Union.
Course Highlight: Student can enroll in courses from world-leading facilities including the O’Brien Centre for Science, Lochland Quinn School of Business, School of Nursing & Midwifery, College of Arts & Humanities. UCD is an ideal destination for all majors at Simmons University.
Majors: Science, Nursing, Business, Art & Humanities.
Housing: Students reside in dormitories on the UCD campus.
Study in Galway: a thriving bohemian, cultural city of over 70,000 residents! Along with being a popular seaside destination with beautiful beaches and a long winding promenade, it also has a buzzing cosmopolitan city center.
Host Institution: National University of Ireland Galway (NUI Galway) is located on the west coast of the Republic of Ireland. NUI Galway ranks among the top 1% of Universities in the world and its history spans almost two centuries.
Course Highlight: The University offers a wide variety of classes across all departments for Simmons study abroad students where you will enroll in class with local students.
Majors: Ideal for most Simmons majors including students studying the humanities, liberal arts, natural sciences, social sciences, and business. Opportunities for nursing students are available. NUI Galway also offers classes that fulfill most Key Content Areas (KCAs).
Housing: Student elect to reside in on-campus dormitories or shared apartments within commuting distance of campus.
Study in Siena, Italy: nestled in the heart of Tuscany, Siena is a top tourist destination well known for its art, cuisine, and medieval architecture!
Host Institution: The IES Siena campus offers a rigorous Business & Economics of Italian Gastronomy Program.
Course Highlight: Simmons students enroll in four courses for a total of 12 credits where you will explore how business and economic concepts are woven into the fabric of the Italian food industry. IES Siena course offerings also fulfill many Key Contact Areas (KCAs).
Majors: Business, Humanities, Liberal Arts, Environmental Studies, Political Science, Agricultural Economics and Italian language.
Housing: Students reside in shared apartments within commuting distance of campus.
Study in Krakow! Krakow is unique in its beauty - UNESCO has included the city on it's list of World Heritage Sites. This mid-size, historic city boasts a large student population and is easy to navigate through by foot or public transportation.
Host Institution: Jagiellonian University of Krakow is located in the historic city of Krakow.
Course Highlight: Students select the majority of their classes from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, and International Relations and Polish Studies, and may ask for special permission to complete a course in another department of the university that offers courses in English. All programs begin with a two-week intensive Polish language course. Internship opportunities are available. Classes offering fulfill most Key Content Areas (KCAs).

Study in Granada, Spain: a city that, for centuries, was a vibrant confluence of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian cultures! Home to the architecturally-rich Alhambra, Granada is consistently viewed as one of Europe’s most beautiful and diverse urban areas.
Host Institution: Granada Institute of International Studies (GRIIS) is a private education institution established in Spain. It is devoted to the organization and administration of undergraduate and graduate Study abroad programs in the areas of Spanish Language and Culture and professional Studies.
Course Highlight: The University of Granada/GRIIS program offers a wide selection of courses in Spanish. Internship and clinical placement opportunities are also available. Nursing majors can enroll in a "Community Clinical"; placement at the Hospital San Juan de Dios.

Study in Madrid, Spain: the third-largest city in the European Union and home to a thriving culture of education, arts, sports, politics, economics, and entertainment!
Host Institution: The USAC Madrid program is housed at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos - a public university with approximately 35,000 students distributed among four campuses throughout metropolitan Madrid.
Course Highlight: Students are able to study Spanish language and the complexities of Spanish and contemporary European societies through a wide selection of academic courses in intensive language, Spanish and European studies, art history, Spanish cinema, history of photography, and drawing. Courses available in English and Spanish, USAC Madrid also offers classes that fulfill many Key Content Areas (KCAs).
Majors: Spanish, Art, History, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Women's Studies, and Anthropology.
Housing: Students elect to reside in homestay accommodation or shared apartments within commuting distance of campus.
Study in Madrid, Spain with Academic Programs International (API).
Host Institution: Universidad CEU San Pablo is Spain's oldest private university with more than 80 years of experience in higher education.
Course Highlight: The school is proud of its ability to grant personalized attention to students as well as offering them fully-equipped and highly-qualified facilities (like its FabLab Madrid part of the MIT FabLab Network). It has a strong reputation in the Sciences with prestigious Schools of Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering and Architecture, this last one accredited by the NAAB.
Majors: Sciences (Biomedical Engineering, Exercise Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, and Architecture) Communication fields (Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Audiovisual Communication and Digital Communication)
Housing: API students in Madrid may choose from three different housing options:
- Host family - Two meals per day
- Residencia - Three meals per day
- Apartment - Meals not included
Study in one of the world’s most diverse cities with CAPA London in the United Kingdom! With a population of over 8.5 million, London is a leading global center of business, finance, education, research and development, and the arts.
Host Institution: The CAPA London campus is nestled between Hyde Park and the River Thames in the historic Royal Borough of Kensington.
Course Highlight: Students study in beautifully renovated Victorian townhouses, complete with a state-of-the-art studio theatre, that offers coursework for most Simmons majors. Internships for credit are available in a wide array of fields and industries. Offers classes that fulfill most Key Content Areas (KCAs).

Housing: Students reside in shared apartments located throughout metropolitan London.
Host Institution: University of Roehampton is a friendly, modern, lively community, with a growing international reputation for the high quality of its teaching and research. The relatively small class sizes mean you are offered a more personalized academic experience.
Course Highlight: Roehampton University has a broad range of courses available in many majors. You can choose to specialize in a single pathway, relating to most Simmons majors or you can choose courses from a variety of pathways to fulfill minor or general education credit requirements. Roehampton also offers classes that fulfill many Key Content Areas (KCAs).
