Study in Prague a millennial European city with narrow curved streets, marvelous courtyards, and green parks is situated in the middle of the Czech Republic and is a short flight or train ride from Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Poland!
Host Institution: The USAC Czech Republic program is housed at Charles University - one of the oldest European universities founded in 1348.
Course Highlight: Visit Kutna Horá, a gothic church made of human bones, and a tour the fortress of Trezín which was turned into a concentration camp during the second World War. Courses are taught in English with three-weeks of intensive Czech language. Electives include Czech language, European politics, art studies and Czech cuisine courses where you may recreate traditional Czech dishes!
Housing: Shared apartments units within commuting distance of campus.
Explore the vibrant and international city of Berlin! Germany’s capital city is filled with rich history, diverse culture and both modern and historical architecture.
Host Institution: The Freie University Berlin (FU Berlin) was founded in 1948 and has since grown into one of the most globally-connected institutions in Germany and the European Union. Freie is ranked among the top 70 universities worldwide and maintains a sprawling urban campus in downtown Berlin.
Course Highlight: Experience life in Berlin, known for its delicious German street food, vibrant culture, and stunning museums! FU Berlin offers a diverse selection of English-taught courses perfect for all Simmons students excited to immerse themselves in German culture.
Housing: Students elect to live in homestay accommodation or the Studentendorf (Student Village).
Torino offers the chance to experience Italy’s rich culture away from the crowded tourist areas. With one foot in its Baroque past and the other in modern business and design, the city blends European history with contemporary culture. Although Torino is Italy’s fourth-largest city, it has a laidback atmosphere and makes it easy to practice Italian with the locals.
Course Highlight: USAC classes are held at the highly respected SAA- School of Management of the University of Torino. Torino is a leading center for European business and business education. Students choose from courses in a variety of fields including international business, politics, architecture, design, and Italian studies. The Torino program also incorporates practical learning through tours and field trips alongside academic coursework to create an integrated cultural experience. In addition, all semester students take an intensive Italian language course during the first six weeks of their program, to help them connect more easily with the local community
Housing: The housing placements for the Torino program are located throughout the city in three general neighborhoods: close to the school, midtown, and downtown. Students share private apartments with other USAC students. The apartments include kitchen facilities and washing machines. Most bedrooms are double occupancy and most apartments are shared by two to four USAC students.
Study in Dublin: a city with Celtic, Viking, and Norman origins going as far back as the 7th century!
Host Institution: Study in Ireland, at one of Europe’s most prestigious universities. Since its founding in 1854, University College Dublin (UCD), has made unique and substantial contributions to the creation of modern Ireland as well as the European Union.
Course Highlight: Students explore the green hills of Ireland and the bustling city of Dublin while studying courses from world-leading facilities. Including the O’Brien Centre for Science, Lochland Quinn School of Business, School of Nursing & Midwifery, College of Arts & Humanities. UCD is an ideal destination for all majors at Simmons University.

Explore beautiful & charming Galway Ireland! Galway is known for its brightly colored cafes, boundless live music, eclectic street performers, and world-class arts and entertainment. History and modernity unite in this city to create an ideal environment for discovering the essence of Ireland's culture, language, and people.
Host Institution: The University of Galway is the largest and oldest university in Western Ireland, set between Connemara and the Burren on the broad sweep of Galway Bay.
Course Highlights: The university boasts a large course offering and world-renowned research in Biomedical Science & Engineering, Web Science, Human Rights, and more!

Study in Granada, Spain: a city that, for centuries, was a vibrant confluence of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian cultures! Home to the architecturally-rich Alhambra, Granada is consistently viewed as one of Europe’s most beautiful and diverse urban areas.
Host Institution: Granada Institute of International Studies (GRIIS) is a private education institution established in Spain. It is devoted to the organization and administration of undergraduate and graduate Study abroad programs in the areas of Spanish Language and Culture and professional Studies.
Course Highlight: The University of Granada/GRIIS program offers a wide selection of courses in Spanish. Internship and clinical placement opportunities are also available. Nursing majors can enroll in a "Community Clinical" placement at the Hospital San Juan de Dios.
Housing: Family homestay accommodation.
Requirements: SPN 245 or above is needed to apply.
Study in Madrid, Spain: the third-largest city in the European Union and home to a thriving culture of education, arts, sports, politics, economics, and entertainment!
Host Institution: The USAC Madrid program is housed at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos - a public university with approximately 35,000 students distributed among four campuses throughout metropolitan Madrid.
Course Highlight: Discover Toledo, an incredible medieval city, overlooking the Tagus River. Explore Segovia, one of the most visited cities in Spain, and see the impeccably preserved Roman aqueducts. While in Madrid students may choose from a wide variety of courses such as intensive language, Spanish and European studies, art history, Spanish cinema, history of photography, and drawing. Courses are available in both English and Spanish.

Explore the exciting city of London while simultaneously enjoying the beautiful parkland campus and close-knit community nestled in beautiful south west London.
Host Institution: University of Roehampton is a friendly, modern, lively community, with a growing international reputation for the high quality of its teaching and research. The relatively small class sizes mean you are offered a more personalized academic experience.
Course Highlight: Experience life as a local Londoner while enjoying local events, festivals, quiz nights and walking tours with other students! Roehampton University has a broad range of courses available in many majors. You can choose to specialize in a single pathway, relating to your Simmons major or you can choose courses from a variety of pathways to fulfill minor or KCA requirements.
Housing: Students reside in dormitory accommodation on campus. Semester students are housed in the Standard Accommodations.
Study in Lisbon: an ideal program for students interested in living and studying in one of the oldest, most beautiful, and most affordable port cities in Europe!
Host Institution: USAC partners with the Universidade Católica Portuguesa for its program in Portugal. As a top-ranked private and leading research university, UCP strives to strengthen society through life-changing science, through the education of its citizens, and through the development of forward-thinking entrepreneurs.
Course Highlight: Look at the United States from an outside perspective by enrolling in the university’s “North American Culture” course!
Housing: Students reside in an off-campus Residence Hall made up of shared apartments in downtown Lisbon with 5-8 other students.
