Opportunities for Adventure

We offer more than 30 different international experiences, including semester and academic year abroad, faculty-led courses, internships, and volunteer abroad. These programs offer the chance to strengthen your intercultural competency and develop leadership skills essential to succeed in an increasingly global society.

There are additional study abroad options through the Colleges of the Fenway. Some of our opportunities include the University of Roehampton, London; University College Dublin; University of Galway; Frei Universitat Berlin European Studies Program; the Granada Institute of International Studies; IES Abroad, SIT Abroad, and USAC.

We also offer summer semester abroad. There are options that allow you to select a location, program length, and area of study that will fit your academic needs. All majors are eligible for a summer semester abroad.

Bella Yee ’24

Bella Yee ’24 is a Public Relations and Marketing Communications major, with minors in Business and Public Policy. She is the Communications Director for the Student Government Association and Co-President of the Communications Liaison. In October of 2023, School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) Dean Sanda Erdelez traveled to her native Croatia as part of the Fulbright Specialist Program, which offers opportunities for U.S. professionals and academics to share expertise and collaborate with institutions around the world.


The Center for Global Education

The Center for Global Education, located in the Center for Student Success, oversees all study abroad opportunities and university exchange partnerships, international student services and many initiatives to help globalize the Simmons experience.

Center for Student Success

The Center for Student Success (CSS), located on the ground floor of LeFavour Hall, houses the Office of Undergraduate Advising, the Writing Center and Tutoring Center, the Center for Global Education, the Office of Accessibility Services, and the Career Education Center.
