Admission Requirements
To apply as a Dix Scholar, you need to submit the following information in addition to the application:
- Official Transcripts - Simmons requires official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities.Official transcripts should be sent directly by the institution to the Simmons Office of Undergraduate Admission.
- To demonstrate proof of high school graduation or equivalency, applicants must submit:
- An official high school transcript showing proof of graduation.
OR - Official score results from a high school equivalency exam (HiSET, GED, TASC, etc).
OR - A signed form attesting to the completion of high school requirements or earned equivalency exam with applicable dates and locations. Please complete this high school attestation form and upload it to your application, titling it "Last Name_First Name_High School Attestation." The high school attestation form cannot be accepted for applicants to the nursing program.
- An official high school transcript showing proof of graduation.
- Recommendations - One recommendation is required (academic preferred if recently enrolled in school).
- Nursing Candidates - Learn about the requirements and deadlines for applying to our nursing program for adult students.
- Personal Statement - Describe how your personal and professional experiences have influenced your decision to attend college as an adult student.
