We're thrilled you'll be joining Simmons University in the summer! Check out a few things you can do to get ready for your Simmons journey.
Deposited Summer Student Checklist
- Activate your Simmons email account.
- Complete tasks in Workday.
- Submit your health forms
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires by law that all full-time students (9 credits or more) under age 30 and all full- and part-time health science students submit documentation of immunizations to the University before starting classes.- Learn more about health requirements for undergraduate and graduate students.
- If you have any questions about these health requirements or using the Student Health Portal, please call the Health Center at 617-521-1020.
- New students will have access to the Portal to submit records beginning June 1.
- Orientation
Although there is not an orientation for Summer students, you may attend the New Student Orientation during the Fall. To register, please send an email to [email protected]. - Submit your Simmons ID photo.
- Register with Accessibility Services (If applicable).
- Send your final transcripts to Undergraduate Admission.
Advising and Courses: Your Academic Advisor will reach out to you to schedule a meeting to discuss your major and transfer credit evaluation and to choose classes. When you meet with your Academic Advisor, they will review your credit evaluation with you to determine which placement exams you will need to complete before starting at Simmons. At that point, you will be able to schedule your placement exams.
