Our June Orientation was a success! Your orientation leader will also be reaching out to you in mid-July.

If you live within close proximity to Simmons, please join us for a Sundae Social on our Academic Campus! Much like the Virtual Social above, you’ll enjoy a sweet treat while playing Simmons Jeopardy with the Orientation leaders. Bring your questions and excitement! 

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Tour (students only)

Join two of our Orientation Leaders for a guided tour of what we at Simmons affectionately call the Izzy Stew Museum! We’ll have plenty of time for making new friends along the way.

Preparing your Pathway: Virtual Campus Partner Panel 1 (students and parents)

We’ll have representatives from key campus partners that will be part of your success crew from Day 1: Office of Accessibility Services, Technology, Advising, Tutoring, and Dining and Financial Services.

Testing the Waters: Tips to Help Your Student Transition this Fall (parents only)

We’ve got all of the Best Practice information in one place for you to prepare for your students’ transition to Simmons in the Fall. This conversation features Dean of Students and VP for Student Engagement Rae-Anne Butera as well as the Asst. Dean of Student Leadership, Christy Lusiak.

September Orientation

First-Bite Orientation will be held Saturday August 29 - Tuesday, September 1, 2026. No registration is needed! Please be sure to check your Simmons email for important information on housing, move-in, and Orientation programming starting August 1, 2026. 

Orientation for Dix Scholars

If you are a Dix Scholar, please note that Orientation for Dix Scholars will be on August 27, 2026. More information will be provided from the Office of Undergraduate Advising in June, or you can email [email protected] with any questions.
