Housing
Find your home at Simmons
We’re dedicated to helping you navigate your housing options with minimal stress. We want you to focus on the excitement of creating a space that truly feels like your Simmons home.
On-campus living for undergraduate students
All first-year undergraduate students are required to live on campus. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors — including those in accelerated 3+1 (bachelor's + master's) programs — are also eligible for on-campus housing.
Just blocks from Main Campus, our nine residence halls offer a private refuge in the bustling city of Boston. You’ll also find The Bartol Dining Hall, Holmes Sports Center, Health Center, Residence Campus Mailroom, and Office of Residence Life.
Living and Learning Center
Opening January 2027
Picture modern dorm rooms with views of the Boston skyline, and integrated spaces that bring the community together.
It’s happening soon! We’re close to realizing our bold One Simmons vision: a 385,000-square-foot Living and Learning Center (LLC) on Main Campus. The 225-foot-tall building will have 14 residence floors for undergraduate students, dining spaces, a fitness and recreation center, and event spaces. This Center will replace our Residence Campus and unify the community.
Housing Resources for Graduate and Commuter Students
Simmons does not offer housing for graduate students. However, we do offer many resources for any student planning to live off campus.
Off-Campus Housing
Through Off-Campus Housing, available exclusively to the Simmons community, you can browse or post rental listings and connect with potential roommates in a searchable database.
You can also:
• Connect virtually with realtors and apartment representatives.
• Learn about legal requirements and rights in Massachusetts.
• Explore everything you need to know about living off campus in Boston.
