Living, Dining, and Recreation Spaces


Whether you live on campus or commute, these spaces are designed for your physical well-being and daily life.

Living and Learning Center (Opening January 2027)

A new 385,000-square-foot Living and Learning Center (LLC) is our “One Simmons” hub. It features 14 residence floors, which offer breathtaking views of the Boston skyline, as well as a dining hall, fitness and recreation center, and event spaces.

Holmes Sports Center

Gym and Recreation Center

The 60,000-square-foot Holmes Sports Center (331 Brookline Ave) includes a swimming pool, cardio equipment, and hardwood courts for students and members.

Health and Wellness

Health Center: Located at 94 Pilgrim Road, next to Holmes Athletics Center, for urgent care, help with chronic illnesses, prescriptions, and referrals to specialists.

The Counseling Center: Provides in-person and telehealth counseling for undergraduate students.

Student Assistance Programs: Offers support in accessing basic needs and mental healthcare.

Graduate students can get confidential support for personal or work-life concerns in addition to many other resources through their student assistance program.

Creative and Collaborative Spaces


Develop leadership skills, start a project, conduct research, or join a student-led media team.

The Makerspace (Palace Road, 1st Floor)

Makerspace, within the School of Library and Information Science, is a student-led facility for creative activities, entrepreneurship, technology projects, and community participation. It includes a 3D printer, Cricut, VR equipment, computerized sewing and embroidery machines, jewelry-making supplies, and crafts supplies. All members of the Simmons community are invited to take part in extracurricular events and drop-in hours.

Home to the Latz and Cohen Media Center, the Simmons Radio Station, the Alden Trust Video Studio, and a flexible space with new podcast rooms.

Jennifer Eckert Center for Leadership and Engagement (Drinan Hall, 1st Floor)

A vibrant undergraduate hub for student organizations and collaborative teamwork.

Nursing Simulation Center

The Nursing Simulation Center features two fundamentals labs, one advanced health assessment lab, five high-fidelity simulation suites, and a home health and hospice/palliative care simulation apartment. We are enhancing our simulation offerings with the addition of a telemedicine simulation space. The center also provides access to virtual and augmented reality tools for participatory learning in simulations, labs, and fieldwork.

Science Classrooms and Labs

Our teaching laboratories and small cohorts provide authentic research experiences. Spaces include a biomedical ultrasound laboratory; a microscopy center; a separation, quantitation, and spectroscopy center; and three level-two certified laboratories for tissue culture and microorganisms. Facilities also include a behavioral science research suite and industry-standard computer, cybersecurity, and data science labs.

Multicultural Center (Drinan Hall, 1st Floor)

The Multicultural Center provides cultural programs, scholarships, research opportunities, workshops, mentoring, and resources for undergraduate and graduate students.

Campus Connect for Undergraduate Students

Our one-stop virtual location for campus engagement, listing student organization meetings, workout classes, College of the Fenway events, and more.

Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (Main College Building A-160)

Organizes programs that celebrate diversity and challenge bias.

Office of Career Development and Employer Relations

Offers career coaching, job fairs, and alumnae/i networking resources.

REEF Support Center (Main College Building, A-075)

Student Services One Stop


Located on the second floor of the Main College Building, this "One Stop" hub handles the administrative side of your education.

Student Financial Services

With a focus on financial literacy, the office provides assistance with loans, billing, payments, and tax documents.

Registrar’s Office

Manages academic records, course registration, transcripts, and transfer credits.

Office of Military and Veteran Services

Supports student veterans in navigating ROTC and VA benefits (Chapters 33, 35, 31).

Fenway Card Service Center

Issues student IDs required for building access, printing, and meal plans.

Technology Service Desk (Main College Building A-050)

Your go-to for computer problems, account access, email issues, and getting technology discounts.
