Undergraduate Student Experience

Big city experience within a close-knit community

Welcome to Boston! Come study and live in our small college environment while enjoying all the resources of one of the country’s most dynamic cities.

Our undergraduate community is women-centered (including trans and non-binary students), creating a unique culture of collective empowerment. At Simmons, you’ll join a student body that is deeply socially conscious and supportive rather than competitive.

Simmons’ tree-lined campus is near public transportation and a short walk from Fenway Park, museums, theaters, restaurants, concert venues, and the lively shops on Newbury Street. During your first semester, you’ll take a Boston Course that lets you explore the city through art, politics, food, or news.

Set to open in January 2027, our new 385,000-square-foot Living and Learning Center will feature 14 residence floors, dining spaces, a fitness and recreation center, and event spaces. See artist renderings of what to expect!
