  1. Jackie Kelley with family after commencement

    Jackie Kelley ’13 ’26MSN earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Simmons’ School of Nursing (SON). After ten years of experience in the field, she returned to Simmons for the Master’s in Nursing (BSN to MSN) online program, with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Kelley shared her experience as a registered nurse and mother of three young children while in the nursing program.

  2. Musculoskeletal session, Nursing Immersion weekend May 2025

    This August, School of Nursing students in the advanced practice nursing programs will convene on the Simmons campus for a three- or four-day long Immersion experience to prepare them for clinical rotations. We spoke to Associate Professor of Practice Laura Behm and Professor of Practice Tina Delouchry about a new session added to this year's Immersion, focused on interprofessional collaboration.

  3. Simmons nursing students engaging in a hands-on project during Immersion weekend

    Simmons School of Nursing students in our online programs came to campus over the summer for an Immersion experience. For insight into what this entailed, we spoke to Tina Delouchry, Professor of Practice and Director of FNP Clinical Education, and Laura Behm, Associate Professor of Practice and Director of PMHNP Clinical Education.

    Simmons School of Nursing Adjunct Laura Behm is the co-founder and co-owner of Milky Moms, which offers lactation services and counseling services to mothers. We spoke to Behm about her approach to this work and what she loves about teaching Simmons students.
