The Boston Business Journal (BBJ) featured Simmons University’s new Living and Learning Center in a recent article, “Take a peek inside Simmons University's new dorm, amenity space.”

As described by the BBJ, “Students are expected to move into the approximately 400,000-square-foot building in January 2027. The tower includes a gymnasium, indoor pool, and dining hall for 400 people.”

The Living and Learning Center is a central component of the One Simmons project. It aims to unify and modernize our campus while enhancing the student experience through spaces that foster connection, collaboration, and community. As part of Simmons’ broader Future in Focus strategy, the LLC highlights how the University is investing in innovative spaces, maximizing its location in the heart of Boston’s Longwood Medical Area, and building a more sustainable future for Simmons and its students.
