  • Fewer than 32 credits: First-year standing

  • 64 to 95 credits: Junior standing
  • 96 credits: Senior standing

Transfer course grades do not appear on your Simmons transcript and do not affect your Simmons GPA.

Transferring Credit to Simmons

Simmons makes it easy to understand how your credits will apply. The Transfer Credit Evaluation process, powered by Transferology, helps you see how previous coursework may transfer. Get started today.

All admitted or waitlisted transfer applicants receive an official transfer credit evaluation shortly after acceptance.

If you have completed an AA or AS degree, you will automatically fulfill Simmons PLAN (general education) requirements through transfer credit, except for the capstone in your major.
