Apply for free to our online undergraduate program at Simmons. The application process is intentionally personal. We want to get to know you as an individual, as well as your past academic endeavors and your future potential.

Rolling Admission

Apply any time with rolling admission! Get a response within 1-2 weeks after submitting all application materials. Register for classes up to 1 week before the term starts.

2. Personal Statement

  • Please reflect upon your experiences, which could include personal, educational and professional. Describe how these experiences have influenced your decision to pursue a Simmons education at this time.
    • If you are currently enrolled at another college or university, please also address your reasons for transferring from your current institution, and the objectives you hope to achieve at Simmons.
  • Please double space your statement, which should be between two and four pages long.

3. College Transcripts

Simmons requires transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. 17+ prior college credits are required. Copies of high school transcript(s) are also required unless you have received an Associate’s Degree.

Official transcripts should be sent directly by the institution, or through an official transcript e-delivery service, to the Simmons Undergraduate Admission Office.

4. Proof of High School Completion/Equivalency

To demonstrate proof of high school graduation or equivalency, applicants must submit:

An official high school transcript showing proof of graduation.

OR

Official score results from a high school equivalency exam (HiSET, GED, TASC, etc).

OR

A signed form attesting to the completion of high school requirements or earned equivalency exam with applicable dates and locations. Please complete this high school attestation form and upload it to your application. Title your uploaded form as: “Last Name_First Name_High School Attestation.”

The high school attestation form cannot be accepted for applicants to the nursing program.

5. Letter of Recommendation

One letter of recommendation is required (academic preferred if recently enrolled in school).

6. Resume or Curriculum Vitae (optional)

An up-to-date resume or CV is recommended, but not required.
