Commencement Eligibility and Timeline | Undergraduate Degrees
Undergraduate students who have submitted their Senior Audit and are on track to complete their degree requirements between August 2023 and May 2024 will be invited to participate in Commencement 2024 on May 17, 2024.
Students who are not completing their degree requirements by May 2024, but are within two courses of completing their degree requirements and will have completed all requirements by the end of Summer 2024 may submit a petition to participate in May Commencement.
May 2024 Graduation Timeline
- February 9, 2024: Last day to verify your Degree Date in Workday (updates to Degree Date or Diploma Name can be requested at [email protected])
- March 29, 2024: Last day to update your diploma name and contact information in Workday for Commencement invitations and post-graduation communications (personal email address, phone number, mailing address)
- April 3, 2024: Invitations to RSVP for May Commencement received via email from MarchingOrder
- April 11, 2024: Commencement Student Speaker Applications Deadline
- April 21, 2024: Last Day to Order Regalia for May Commencement
- April 23, 2024 (midnight): Last Day to RSVP for the May Commencement Ceremonies
- May 17, 2024: May Commencement Ceremonies (In Person & Streaming). Diplomas will be available to pick up on the academic campus, at 300 Fenway, until 5:30 PM on the day of Commencement. Graduates will also be able to pick up their diplomas at the Simmons OneStop during normal business hours from May 20 to 31. Diplomas that are not picked up will be mailed to graduates in early June.
- May 18, 2024 at 12 PM: Last Day to Move Out of Residence Halls
- May 20 - 31, 2024: Diploma pick-up for May graduates available in the Simmons OneStop
