Summer Housing for Conferences & Events

Simmons offers on-campus housing for conference groups, and summer programs.

We also offer housing for interns working in the Boston area during designated periods.

Housing options

Housing is provided in a single residence hall with a range of room configurations to support different group needs, including:

  • Single rooms
  • Double and triple occupancy rooms
  • Semi-private bathroom options (shared between rooms)
  • Limited private bathroom options

Room types and configurations are assigned based on availability and group needs

Group housing

Housing can be arranged for groups of various sizes, including:

  • Conferences and academic programs
  • Youth and pre-college programs
  • Summer interns and extended stays

Housing assignments are based on group type, size, and availability, with efforts made to keep groups together.

Is overnight housing available year-round? 

No. Overnight housing is typically available after Simmons commencement through early to mid-August before students return to campus. 

Is Public Safety available on campus? 

Yes. Simmons Public Safety is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support the safety and security of our campus community and guests. 

Are meal plans available for overnight groups? 

Yes. Meal plans and dining options are available for overnight conference groups, summer programs, and interns staying on campus. 

Is parking available for overnight guests? Parking options are available for overnight guests during the summer conference season. Availability is subject to campus operations and cannot be guaranteed. Parking arrangements should be discussed with the Conferences & Special Events team during the planning process. 

Can interns stay on campus? 

Yes. Simmons offers summer housing for interns working in the Boston area during designated housing periods. 

Can we request specific room types? 

Room assignments are based on group needs and availability. While we do our best to accommodate requests, specific room types and locations cannot be guaranteed. 

What amenities are included with on-campus housing? 

Guests staying on campus enjoy a comfortable residential experience with amenities that include:
