Ready to make a lasting impact on young girls in your community? Girls Inc. of Boston & Lynn is seeking passionate college mentors for our Project BOLD program. You'll build positive, supportive relationships that empower youth, boost their confidence, and inspire them to reach for a bright future. This is your chance to engage in meaningful work that builds character and prepares young girls to become strong, smart, and bold leaders.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate weekly programming for 8-11-year-old participants.
- Attend weekly chapter meetings to connect with fellow mentors.
- Take part in chapter-led events and field trips.
- Undergo regular training from Girls Inc. staff.
Who We're Looking For
- Undergraduate students who can commit to a full academic year.
- Individuals with a sense of humor, creativity, and a passion for gender equity.
- Leaders with strong communication skills and an ability to work well on a team.
- Experience with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
