Undergraduate Career Outcomes

Each year, Simmons’ Office of Career Development and Employer Relations surveys alumnae/i from the previous year’s graduating baccalaureate class to determine their employment and/or further education status in accordance with national standards outlined by NACE. The most recent of these First Destinations Survey results is for the Class of 2023; the knowledge rate is 62%.

Key results from the survey report include:

  • Of those for whom we have data, 99% were employed full- or part-time, volunteered, and/or continued their education within six (6) months of leaving Simmons.
  • 85% of graduates employed full-time were in positions related to their major.
  • The average salary was $61,053 (3 data points).

More detailed outcome information for the Class of 2023 and other recent undergraduate classes can be found in the Summary Results reports.
