Application requirements

  • Completed Application
    Apply for FREE with the Common Application or the Simmons Application
  • High School Transcript
    Send your official college transcript to [email protected]
  • SAT or ACT Test Scores (TOEFL required if English is not your native language)
    Simmons University is now test optional. This means you do not need to submit your test scores to be considered for admission, to be considered for scholarship, or to be considered for any special programs.

    Note: If you do want to submit your scores, include our school code when you take the tests. SAT Code: 3761| ACT Code:1892
  • College Essay
  • Letters of recommendation
    One from a teacher and one from a counselor
  • College Transcript (if applicable)
    Send your official college transcript to [email protected]

Application deadlines

First-year students have two admission options:

  • Early Action I and II: This non-binding option allows students to submit their application and credentials early for priority scholarship and admission consideration. In order to be reviewed for Early Action consideration your application must be complete on the deadline date.
  • Regular Decision: Regular Decision applicants are reviewed for admission and scholarship as they become complete.
