The Simmons University School of Social Work is pleased to invite you to the 3rd Annual Veterans Day Program — a special event honoring the service, sacrifice, and leadership of our student-veterans and all members of the U.S. Armed Forces. This event is free, and is open to all members of the Simmons community and friends and guests beyond the University.

We are honored to welcome Colonel Jeffrey S. Yarvis, a Senior Professor of Practice for the Tulane University School of Social Work, as our keynote speaker. Colonel Yarvis will present on "Leadership and Social Work in Times of Uncertainty: Lessons in Military Social Work." The program will also feature reflections from Simmons faculty and community members exploring the intersection of education, service, and leadership, and will include a luncheon reception.
