Thank You to Our Generous Donors
This letter was sent to donors who made gifts during fiscal year 2026.
Behind every Simmons dream realized is someone who helped make it possible. This year, that someone included you.
As we close another fiscal year, I want to express my deep gratitude for your generosity. Because of your partnership, Simmons continues to prepare students to thrive professionally, enrich their communities, and address the complex challenges facing our world.
Your generosity touches every corner of our campus—opening doors through scholarships, supporting exceptional faculty, enriching student life and athletics, and providing the flexible funding that allows Simmons to embrace emerging opportunities and invest where the need is greatest.
Your Impact by the Numbers
When our fiscal year closed on June 30, 2,825 donors—including alumnae/i, faculty, staff, parents, friends, and institutional partners—had contributed nearly $13 million to advance Simmons' mission.
That collective investment helped make possible the achievements we celebrated this spring, as more than 1,700 undergraduate and graduate students crossed the Commencement stage. Each diploma represents a future full of possibility, fueled by the support of donors like you who believe in the transformative power of a Simmons education.
From our labs and clinical simulation centers to internships in Boston and around the world, your generosity helps students gain the knowledge, experience, and confidence to make a meaningful difference in their professions and communities. As the Class of 2026 steps into the world as nurses, social workers, scientists, librarians, entrepreneurs, and changemakers, they carry forward Simmons' 125-year tradition of leadership, service, and impact.
Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their futures. Since 1899, Simmons has championed the idea that education creates opportunity and inspires individuals to make a difference in the world. Your generosity ensures that vision continues for the next generation. I am deeply grateful for your partnership and for all that you make possible at Simmons.
With warm regards,
Lynn Perry Wooten, PhD
