Simmons University is proud to offer the nation’s first Women’s Sports Graduate Business Certificate, preparing you to shape the business of women’s sports with purpose and vision. This four-course graduate certificate empowers professionals to strengthen the business of women’s sports and accelerate the game’s growth.

The women’s sports industry is in need of leaders who can turn momentum into meaningful change. At Simmons University, the Women’s Sports Business Certificate equips you with the business insight and leadership skills to seize opportunity and help drive the next era of growth and equity in women’s sports.

You’ll gain practical skills in management, marketing, sponsorship, and finance through case studies in women’s sports and access to industry leaders. The program combines strategic learning with real-world application to help you shape the future of women’s sports.

With a Graduate Certificate in Women’s Sports Business, you can lead teams and create opportunities that elevate women’s sports. Whether managing operations or launching your own venture, you’ll learn from industry leaders who have and are currently impacting the women’s sports landscape. 

Helping to lead the new concentration is Justine Pouravelis, a 15-time Emmy Award–winning sports media executive with nearly two decades of experience across professional sports and media and a team of industry leaders.

Developed with input from an Advisory Board of executives – including those from the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL), Boston Red Sox, Bleacher Report, NWSL’s North Carolina Courage Ownership Group, the Miami Heat, Draft Kings and the KLUTCH Sports Group - our curriculum aims to equip students with the real-life skills to impact women’s sports organizations.
