Payment Plans

Simmons University, in partnership with TouchNet, offers a variety of payment plans to assist with managing the cost of higher education.

Payment Policies

Charges for tuition, fees, campus housing and any prior balance must be paid in full each semester before a student may attend class. Learn about payment deadlines, late fees & penalties.

Tuition and Housing Refund Information

The tuition refund policy applies to all Simmons University students. Students are responsible for abiding by the published tuition refund deadlines.

Financial Aid & Credit Balance Refunds

Learn about financial aid and credit balance refunds, financial aid and withdrawals/leaves, refund direct deposit info, and loan cancellation after a refund.

Student Health Insurance

All campus-based students enrolled 3/4 time or more are required by Massachusetts State law to enroll in the Student Health Insurance or be covered by a health insurance plan with comparable coverage.

Tuition Protection Insurance

Consider Tuition Protection Insurance to supplement and strengthen the University's current refund policy.

Simmons Direct Textbooks

Undergrad students are charged $24.50/credit for Fall 2026 and $26.50/credit for Spring 2027 for books and course material. Students can choose to opt-out and purchase separately. This charge can be deducted from bill if paid before the opt-out period starts.

Undergraduate Commuter Meal Plan

Undergrad commuter students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours are automatically enrolled in the Commuter Block 20 plan with 100 Dining Points for $364 prior to the start of semester. Plan will appear on student bill as part of the standard billing process. Students may opt out or upgrade to a different plan by completing this online form before September 23, 2026.
