The Division of Student Engagement, Success, and Diversity (SESD) provides funding to graduate students seeking to enrich their scholarly interests and professional development through independent research, creative endeavors, and participation in national or international conferences.

Graduate Student Research Fund Award
The Graduate Student Research Fund Award is a competitive, merit-based award that provides up to $1,500 to Doctoral and Master’s students conducting independent research or pursuing an artistic endeavor that advances their disciplinary field and/or professional goals.

Graduate Student Conference Fund Award
The Graduate Student Conference Fund provides up to $500 to Doctoral and Master’s students to participate in an academic or professional conference. Preference will be given to candidates who are presenting at a conference.
