Visual design brings the Simmons brand to life. 

Putting words and visuals together well — through print, signage, web, video, social media and other digital platforms — drives the Simmons Brand. Good design commands attention, expresses our personality, and elevates our themes and messages. Consistency in design sets us apart.


Design Elements

Logos and Seals

Logos can be downloaded by Simmons faculty and staff for use in branded communications.

Color Palette

Our chief operating colors are Simmons dark blue and pure white. They are supported most commonly by two additional blues and a rich black. Accent colors are also available.

Simmons brand fonts: Artigo, Alga, and Museo Sans

Typography (Fonts)

Museo Sans is our workhorse font. Artigo and Alga are our display fonts.

Photography and Video

Photographs capture the essence of Simmons University to tell a richer, more comprehensive story. Video is a great tool for showing engaging activity that can’t be captured in other formats.

Graphic Elements

We use two primary graphic elements: the cupola and the Simmons "S". Stormy the Shark is used sparingly.
