Internal Funding for Faculty and Graduate Students

Application portal

Internal Award Programs

Deadline – Rolling

To maintain and enhance the academic integrity and vitality of the University, institutional support for faculty development is crucial. All full-time faculty are eligible to apply. The Faculty Development Fund supports activities that contribute to the overall professional development of Simmons University faculty. These activities include presenting papers at professional meetings, poster presentations, participation on panels, and the like.

Deadline – Rolling

The Simmons University Graduate Student Travel Award competition provides financial support to graduate students who are attending and presenting research at academic or professional conferences. Preference will be given to those who are making a presentation. In cases where the applicant will not be presenting, the student statement and faculty letter of recommendation should address the importance of attendance for the student's professional development. Preference is given to students who have not previously received a Graduate Student Travel Grant.
