Balancing Acts celebrates the moments of instability and the feats of equilibrium that shape literature for children and young adults. The theme weighs contributions of form and genre, words and art, reader and self. Books for young people juggle conflicting truths, navigate opposing forces, and hold dueling emotions. Join us as we teeter, totter, and recenter as we consider the ever-shifting field of literature for young people.
