The event is hosted by The School of Sciences and Health Professions with sponsorship from The Office of Student Engagement, Success and Diversity and a generous gift in memory of Cecile Leinwand Bronfin '63 from her family.

3:30 pm: Opening Remarks and Podium Talks

Remarks delivered by Dr. Teresa Fung, Ruby Winslow Linn Professor, Director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics, and the 2022 Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation Monsen Award winner

Talk topics including, but not limited to:

  • Nutritional Counseling Effects on Underweight Pediatric Patients
  • Effects of Chemo-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy on Exercise Programming in Breast Cancer Survivors

5:00 pm: Poster Research Showcase
Linda K Paresky Center

Posters are representative of all of our departments across the School of Sciences and Health Professions. Topics including, but not limited to:

  • How does early-life antibiotic exposure alter the gut microbiome and influence neurodevelopment and mental health outcomes in children?
  • Cardiovascular Effects of Alcohol and Energy Drink Co-Ingestion in Young Adults
  • Pain That Lasts: Childhood Trauma and Adult Pain-Related Cognitions
