Please join us for the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program's Annual Bread and Roses Dinner and Conversation, co-sponsored this year with the SLIS Archives Management Concentration. The event will feature Joan Ilacqua (Executive Director), and Mik Hamilton '24 (Archivist) from Queer History Boston (QHB).
QHB is a community archive dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the rich LGBTQ+ histories of Boston and New England. Founded in 1980 by a small, passionate group of volunteers, QHB has grown into one of the largest and most dynamic LGBTQ+ community archives in the U.S.
Join us for dinner and conversation about local queer history and building a career at the intersection of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, archives, and activism.
Free dinner will be served. All are welcome, but space is limited!
