Simmons membership ins GCWS likewise offers all students networking opportunities beyond the classroom, particularly:

  • access to GCWS sponsored events, workshops and symposiums which are held across the city of Boston.

Please note: All Simmons graduate students and advanced undergraduate students studying in a relevant field who wish to enhance their studies with additional gender-based coursework are eligible to apply to enroll in GCWS seminar courses.

Before applying, students are strongly encouraged to discuss with their academic advisor whether credits earned through GCWS can be applied towards their degree requirements.

Simmons students and faculty who are interested in learning more about opportunities available through Simmons’ membership in GCWS may contact Professor Denise Horn

Questions about cross-registration through GCWS can be directed to Professor Suzanne Leonard, Graduate Program Director for Simmons’ MA in Gender/Cultural Studies program.
