Merit Scholarships for Graduate Students

Graduate

We believe exceptional academic preparation and hard work should be rewarded, so while we offer financing through graduate federal loans, we also offer competitive merit-based scholarships. Applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships, and no additional application is required. These scholarships are awarded by the Admission Committee based on the "merit" or strength of an application.

Scholarships are limited and are based on the strength of a candidate's application. No separate scholarship application is required.

Applicants who receive an award will have an award letter included with their admission decision letter. Recipients must maintain a minimum registration level as outlined in their award letter, and must also maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 during the semester(s) they are awarded. International students are eligible for merit scholarships.

Accepted students may defer their enrollment for one academic year but the scholarship does not automatically carry forward to the future term of enrollment. Students will be re-considered for a scholarship, and the new award amount may be different from the original award depending upon the competitiveness of the new applicant pool. Awards are canceled if a student withdraws, takes a leave of absence or is academically dismissed from the program.
