Sarah Kilduff
Associate Professor of Practice and Associate Director of the BSW Program
Sarah Kilduff is an Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts. She first joined the Simmons community as an adjunct professor in the School of Social Work and has remained committed to supporting and mentoring Simmons students.
Since earning her MSW from Boston College, Sarah has served individuals and families throughout Greater Boston and surrounding communities in a variety of clinical roles. Her experience includes providing community-based support at Children's Services of Roxbury, working as a mobile crisis clinician, outpatient therapist, and clinical director. Sarah founded a group practice that serves people across the lifespan as they navigate a wide range of life challenges. She specializes in trauma, anxiety disorders, mood and personality disorders, and identity exploration. Sarah is dedicated to providing care that is LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-oppressive, Health at Every Size aligned, and trauma-informed.
Teaching and mentoring have been some of the most rewarding parts of Sarah's career. In addition to teaching in the BSW program at Simmons, she has taught in the MSW program at Boston College and supervised interns from a variety of social work programs. Because social work is a constantly evolving profession, Sarah encourages emerging social workers to embrace lifelong learning with curiosity, humility, and compassion.
Sarah is beginning her PhD in Social Work at Simmons and joining the BSW team full-time as an Associate Professor of Practice and Associate Director of the BSW Program. As an Emmanuel College graduate, Sarah is excited to be back at the Colleges of the Fenway.
