Michele Livingood

Academic Advisor, SocialWork@Simmons

Michele Livingood, LMSW, has been a full-time Academic Advisor for the School of Social Work since 2021. She has earned her BSW from Bloomsburg University, MSW from Wheelock College, and LMSW in the state of Maryland. Her experience includes individual and group therapy with children and their families, therapy in the school setting (K-8th grade) as well as the home/community setting, and grief/bereavement work. She has also been teaching at Simmons since 2018 with the MSW program, as well as the BSW Complete Degree program.  

In her free time, she loves reading, DMB, cats, puzzles, and all things Taylor Swift.
