School of Management Professor of Practice Justine Pouravelis was quoted in an article in The Christian Science Monitor, “New investors change the game for women’s pro sports.”
In the article, Pouravelis states “Legacy media across the board through time has had resistance to telling the stories that should be told about women’s sports,” noting that professional teams have leveraged social media platforms to engage with their fans.
The article also mentions her career at the New England Sports Network and her current role in launching the first-ever concentration in Business and Leadership in Women’s Sports in the new Master of Science in Management (MSM).
