Samhain is a day to celebrate the lives of those who have passed on, welcome those born during the past year into community and reflect on past relationships, events and other significant changes in life.
Samhain is an ancient Celtic festival that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, or the "darker half" of the year. Historically, it was celebrated from October 31 to November 1.
